Fifteen Former Penguin Student-Athletes Earn Degrees
Youngstown -- A group of 15 former
student-athletes earned their
degrees from Youngstown State
University during graduation
services which were held at the
Beeghly Center on Sunday.
Student-athletes receiving their diplomas following the
conclusion of the fall semester
include John Bartos (football),
Caitlin Bestard (soccer), Joe Bishop
(football), Lacy Bronson (softball),
Brandon Brown (football), Rich
DiMuzio (baseball), Marielle Glantz
(track and field), Cortney Harless
(swimming and diving), Lindsey Hill
(track and field), Demetrius Ison
(football), Lindsey Kowal (track and
field), Greg Mayes (men's
basketball), Kyle Penrod (baseball)
and Justin Reams (football).
Former track and field standout Jarrod Davis earned his
Master's Degree in Computer and
Information Systems. Graduating
Magna Cum Laude was Harless while
Hill graduated Cum Laude.
Former Athletic Department
Administrative student assistants
Stephanie Scarnecchia, Jennifer Cann
and Erin Hall all received degrees
while current student assistants
Laura Neely (bachelor's) and Monica
Lisko (associates) also received
diplomas.
Men's Basketball manager Anthony "Bubba" Saccoccia also
earned a Bachelor's Degree. |
