Three Penguins Make Great Lakes League All-Star Team
Youngstown -- Eric Shaffer, Justin
Thomas and Brian Boone have been
named to the Great Lakes League
All-Star Team, the league announced
Monday.
Shaffer, a member of the first-place Stark County Terriers,
is 2-0 in five starts with a 2.01
ERA while Thomas, a member of the
Columbus All Americans, is 1-1 with
a save and an ERA of 1.89 in 19
innings. Boone is a member of
the Youngstown Express. All
three players will play on the blue
squad.
The All-Star game will be on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Ohio
Wesleyan College. |
