appearances for the Coppell Copperheads of the Texas Collegiate League ... held
opposing batters to a .213 average, struck out 36 and walked 11 in 32.1 innings

surrendering two runs on two hits while striking out eight in seven innings ...
also allowed only one run in game two of the championship series but did not

one run on nine hits and left with a 3-1 lead in the eighth inning at UIC before
the bullpen allowed six runs in the ninth (5/4).
2006: Set the school record for most innings pitched in a season with 99
and tied the record for starts with 14 ... finished 4-4 with a 4.36 ERA ... also
made five relief appearances, holding opponents scoreless in his final four ...
went 2-1 with an ERA of 2.54 after April 19 ... over that span, he held
opponents to 31 earned runs and surrendered just 42 hits in 46 innings ... team
went 7-7 in his 14 starts ... averaged better than 6 2/3 innings per start ...
ranked second in the Horizon League in strikeouts, second in innings pitched and
seventh in ERA ... went the distance in an 11-4 victory at Wright State,
allowing only two earned runs and struck out two in the nine-inning effort ...
earned his first win at Xavier on March 17 despite allowing six runs on 10 hits
in six innings ... held Wright State to one run on six hits in eight innings and
matched his season-high with eight strikeouts in a victory on April 8 ... also

relief in three more ... compiled a 3-2 record with a 5.54 ERA and 41 strikeouts
in 50 1/3 innings ... picked up victories against West Liberty, Duquesne and
Wright State ... allowed only two hits in six shutout innings and struck out five
against West Liberty (3/22) ... threw six shutout innings and struck out six
against Duquesne a week later (3/29) ... allowed three runs in five innings
against the Raiders ... struck out a career-high nine hitters in 5 2/3 innings
against Cleveland State (4/10) ... allowed one run on three hits against Morehead
State in his first career start (3/16).
