Pitt Scores Final 13 Runs to Snatch Victory from YSU

    Pittsburgh, Pa. -- Pittsburgh scored 13 runs in the final two innings to overcome an 11-2 deficit and steal a 15-11 victory from the Youngstown State baseball team on Wednesday at Trees Field.
    The Penguins led 11-2 through the top of the seventh inning, but Pittsburgh scored 10 runs in the seventh and three times in the eighth. Release | Box Score

Baseball Scores Often Late in 13-6 Win Over Walsh

    Chillicothe, Ohio -- The Youngstown State baseball team scored 10 of the final 13 runs and had a season-high 19 hits to beat Walsh 13-6 and complete a three-game sweep on Sunday.
    Both teams scored one run in each of the first three innings, but the Penguins scored four straight runs to take a 7-3 lead in the sixth. The Penguins then blew the game open with six runs on seven hits in the eighth. Release | Box Score

Healey Homers Twice as Guins Sweep Doubleheader with Walsh

    Chillicothe, Ohio -- Jacke Healey hit home runs in both games, and the Youngstown State baseball team swept a doubleheader against NAIA member Walsh University on Friday at VA Memorial Stadium.
    YSU's senior shortstop hit a two-run homer in the third inning of the first game as YSU won 9-2. He hit a go-ahead three-run shot in game two to lead the Penguins to a 6-4 win Release

Healey Hits Third Round-Tripper as Penguins Fall 8-2 at Lipscomb
Jacke Healey       Nashville, Tenn. -- Jacke Healey's two-run home run provided the Youngstown State baseball team with its only runs of the game as the Penguins fell 8-2 at Lipscomb on Wednesday.
    The Penguins split the two-game series with the Bisons, having come from behind to win on Tuesday, 9-8. Release | Box Score

    Nashville, Tenn. -- Anthony Porter drove in his fourth run in the top of the ninth, and Greg Dissinger hit a grand slam in the eight to lift the Youngstown State baseball team to a come-from-behind 9-8 victory at Lipscomb.
    Porter hit a three-run homer in the first inning to give the Penguins an early lead, but YSU had to rally from an 8-4 deficit in the final two innings. Release | Box Score
