Football: Brown Named TEAMLINK.COM National
Player of the Week

Youngstown State University fullback
Adrian Brown (Sr., Canton, OH)
was named the TEAMLINK.COM Division
I-AA National Player of the Week for
his performance last weekend.
Brown led the Penguins to a 43-37 overtime win over Southern
Illinois last weekend. Brown rushed
for a career-high 198 yards and
three touchdowns and was named the
Gateway Football Conference
Offensive Player of the Week. Brown
scored the game-winning touchdown
from 12-yards out in overtime to
lift the No. 10 Penguins to 5-1 and
3-0 in the Gateway Football
Conference.
For his career, Brown has scored 48 career touchdowns, which
is just one shy of tying him for
second-place all-time on the
school's touchdown list. He also
needs one touchdown to tie him for
second place in points scored in a
career. |
