Former Wide Receiver Donald Jones Invited to NFL Combine

Youngstown -- Former Youngstown State wide receiver Donald Jones has been invited to take part in the 2010 NFL Combine which will be held Feb. 24-March 2 at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, Ind.

Jones is currently working with Pro Combine Training coach Mike Gough at his Athletic Edge Sports facility in Bradenton, Fla. Gough has worked with countless athletes in their quest for NFL Combine excellence, including Super Bowl XLI champion Joseph Addai, the Chicago Bears' Mark Anderson, and 2007 top-10 draft pick Amobi Okoye (Houston Texans).

Jones had an impressive senior year for the Penguins setting the school-mark for single-season grabs with 77. A first-team All-MVFC selection, he had 77 receptions for 790 yards and caught six touchdown passes. He twice tied the school record with 11 receptions in a contest (Missouri State and Southern Illinois).
