Western Kentucky...also saw action as a reserve against Slippery
Rock, Southern Illinois and at Western Illinois...earned his first
letter.
2003: Played in four games along the offensive line...appeared in
contests against Kent State, Liberty, SMS and Western Illinois...one
of three true freshmen to see action...was the Scout Team Offensive
Player of the Week against Slippery Rock.
High School: Was a Special-Mention Division V
All-Ohio selection...was a first-team Division I all-district pick
as a senior...in 2002 finished with 107 tackles, 12 sacks and 13
tackles for losses...named the 2002 North Coast League Player of the
Year...was also a Spotlight Player of the Week by the Cleveland
Plain Dealer...a team captain as a senior...as a junior had 58
tackles, 11 tackles for losses and five sacks...two-year
starter...played on the offensive and defensive lines...Chanel won
