2005: Played in all 11 games and started 10 games at right
tackle and one game at right guard...started at guard against
Southern Illinois...named the Offensive Lineman of the Game for his
performance against SIU...earned his second letter.
2004: Played in eight games along the defensive line and
started against Slippery Rock...recorded five total tackles for the
season...two tackles were solos while the other three were
assists...had a career-high four tackles against Slippery Rock...had
a solo stop against Florida International...credited with 133
defensive plays by the coaching staff...earned his first letter.
2003: Played in nine games on both the offensive and defensive
lines during the season...started against Florida Atlantic when the
offense opened the game with three tackles...moved to defensive line
during the later part of the season...played on defense against
Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky...recorded a tackle against
the Hilltoppers...credited with 24 defensive plays by the coaching
staff.
2002: Was enrolled at YSU, but did not play while meeting
NCAA initial eligibility requirements.
High School: Earned All-Ohio honorable-mention honors as a
senior...named as one of the Spring Ohio Future Stars Top 100
football players...St. Peter Chanel won the Division V State
Championship with a 15-0 record...it was the school’s first state
title...team defeated Marion Pleasant 44-27 in the finals...coach
was Bill Powers...also played basketball and participated in track
and field.
