Played two seasons with the Fighting Illini…as a sophomore (2004), he saw action in seven games…totaled 114 all-purpose yards, gaining 86 on six kickoff returns and 28 on 11 rushing attempts…had a season-long run of 15 yards against Minnesota…had seven carries against the Gophers…returned three kickoffs for 50 yards against Minnesota…had two kickoff returns against Indiana and one against Iowa…had two rushes against Wisconsin and Michigan State…team was 3-8…as a freshman (2003), played in eight games, earning a start against Iowa…he gained 214 yards rushing on 64 carries and returned 11 kickoffs for 208 yards…averaged 18.9 yards per kick return, including a long of 31…rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries at Indiana…had 42 yards on the ground at Iowa…had 14 carries against the Hawkeyes…returned five kicks for 116 yards at Purdue and had two receptions for 10 yards…also had 16 yards rushing against the Boliermakers…had nine rushes for 32 yards against Northwestern, including a 15-yard gain…had five attempts against Purdue and Michigan State…had four rushes against Minnesota…had two rushes against Michigan…coach was Ron Turner.
