2007-2008: Competed in two tournaments and saw action in six rounds…averaged 75.7 strokes per round…finished 16th at the IPFW Fall Classic with a 213…had rounds of 80, 65 and 68 during the IPFW Tournament…the round of 65 was a career low and was the third lowest of the event…tied for 57th at the Frank Landrey Invitational with a 241 (76-85-80)...earned his second letter.

 

2006-07: Competed in five tournaments and 15 rounds for the year...averaged 80.0 strokes per round...at the Horizon League Championships placed 35th with a 258...improved every round with scores of 89, 86 and 83...finished 78th at First Energy Intercollegiate with a 238 (80-79-79)...was 29th at the Wiscon Corporation Invitational carding a 234...had rounds of 79, 81 and 74 during the event...in collegiate debut at Rex Chaney MSU Eagle Classic placed 31st as an individual with a 226...was highest Penguins placer in the meet...had rounds of 77, 70 and 79...his 70 tied for the lowest score by a Guin all year (Ryan McGraw)...placed 30th at Poplar Hill/Longwood Intercollegiate with a 244...had rounds of 79, 82 and 83 during the tournament...earned his first letter.

 

2005-06: Redshirted.

High School:
Was a first-team Division III All-Ohio selection as a senior...helped lead Garaway to Division III state title in 2004...placed fourth at the state meet with two-round total of 147 (72-75)...finished one stroke out of second and three out of first...named the Eastern District Coaches Association Golfer of the Year for Division III...also named first-team all-district...Pirates won the Division III sectional as well...school was four-time conference champions...was a four-year letterwinner...set school marks for lowest average, lowest 18-hole score and most under-par rounds...coach was Tim Immel.

Born April 4, 1987...parents are Dave and Joyce Alpeter...has a brother (Steve)...Ervin J. Dodge Scholarship Recipient 2008-09...major is civil engineering.
