Men’s Golf: Stocke
Ties For 10th at Frank Landrey
Invitational
Amherst,
Va. –
Junior Ryan Stocke tied for 10th
place as the Youngstown State men’s
golf team wrapped up fall tournament
play at the Frank Landrey
Invitational, which concluded on
Tuesday at the Poplar Grove Golf
Club.
Stocke carded a three-round score of
221 with rounds of 72, 70 and 79. As
a team, YSU placed 10th out of 11
schools with a three-round score of
923 (300-310-313). Radford won the
event with a team score of 860.
Other finishers for the Penguins
included senior Ross Beal who tied
for 32nd with a 229
(70-79-80), freshman Spenser Sulzner
who placed 54th with a
239 (82-82-75), senior Ryan McGraw
who was 57th with a 241
(83-79-79) and sophomore Ryan
Alpeter also finished 57th
at 241 (76-85-80).
