Women’s Golf: Rogner Misses Cut at U.S. Women's Amateur

    Eugene, Ore. -- Youngstown State women's golfer Katie Rogner finished at 22-over par 166 (81-85) following Tuesday's second-round stroke play in her first trip to the U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championships held at the Eugene Country Club.
    Rogner placed 143rd at the event after a second round which consisted of seven pars, 10 bogeys and a double bogey. The cut for the final 64 of the tournament was eight-over par. Those individuals begin match play on Wednesday.
    Rogner was just one of 155 competitors to qualify for the event.
