Fifteen Student-Athletes Earn Degrees Following Fall Semester

The Youngstown State Athletic Department would like to congratulate a group of 15 former Youngstown State student-athletes for earning their degrees this fall.

The former Penguins who received their diplomas during ceremonies at the Beeghly Center on Dec. 16 were Tyler Booth (Football), Kyle Brown (Football), Kelsey Kempton (Soccer), KaiCee Kubicina (Track and Field), Michael Lower (Golf), D.J. Main (Football), Mike McGlone (Football), Brittany McNeal (Volleyball), David Rach (Football), Andrew Radakovich (Football), Maurice Rucker (Tennis), Nicole Rymer (Track and Field), Ethan Slark (Football), Deonta Tate (Football) and Kirstin Walker (Swimming).

Also graduating were sports information interns Zach Humphries and Kevin Davis as well as football gameday PenguinVision coordinator Gary Brode and Horizon League Network production assistant Maggie Gilmore.

Of the group, Kempton graduated Summa Cum Laude while Humphries graduated Magna Cum Laude and McNeal and Rymer graduated Cum Laude.
