Seamus Reilly Named Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Youngstown,
Ohio – Seamus (pronounced
“SHAY-mus) Reilly has been named
assistant women’s soccer coach at
Youngstown State University, Head
Coach Liz Bartley announced on
Monday.
Reilly replaces Brian Stock, who was named head coach at Southern Utah in
February.
“Seamus is going to be an incredible addition to our
staff,” said Bartley.
“ He brings an extensive knowledge
of the game to our program and is a
very energetic, enthusiastic coach
with a great passion for the game.”
Prior to joining the Youngstown State staff, Reilly
spent last season as assistant men’s
soccer coach at Middlebury College
and was the People To People
Director for Sports Ambassadors from
1999-2000.
He spent five years (1993-98) as the Canton International Soccer
Director, while also serving as
assistant women’s soccer coach at
Walsh University from 1995-96.
Reilly, who earned his NSCAA Premier Badge in 2001,
served as assistant men’s soccer
coach at Baldwin-Wallace from
1991-93.
Reilly earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education
from Walsh in 1998 and a master’s
degree in education from Walsh in
2000. |
