Penguins Drop Geneva, 7-0

Youngstown State sophomore Maddie
Lawther scored two goals and
assisted on two others to lead the
Penguins past Geneva, 7-0, in the
squad's only preseason scrimmage on
Tuesday night at Stambaugh Stadium.
Freshman Kara Vezza scored one goal with two assists while
Sadie Brookman, Katie Duracky,
Britta Snowberger, and Jessica
Yarter each scored one goal.
Brookman and Duracky were also
credited with one assist each.
Senior Kim Jugenheimer collected two assists while freshman
Brittny Humphrey tallied one assist.
The Penguins open the 2004 regular season against Robert
Morris, Friday, Aug. 27, at 4 p.m.
