seventh soccer recruit to sign a
National Letter of Intent to
continue her athletic and academic
career at Youngstown State
University, women's soccer Head
Coach Will Lemke announced Thursday.

Youngstown -- The
Youngstown State soccer team
opened up the spring season with a
3-1 victory over California
University of Pennsylvania at Stambaugh Stadium on Thursday
evening. Jordan Gapzynski, Jodi
Bowlen and Jessica McMurray each
scored goals for the Penguins who
were playing their first scrimmage
under new Coach Will Lemke.

Olivia Dressler (Garrettsville, Ohio) and
Shelby Parks (Pittsburgh, Pa.),
midfielders Lydia Allen (La
Crescent, Minn.), Katie Peterlin (Parma, Ohio)
and Cori Stark (Belle Vern, Pa.)
allowing with defender Brittany Dowd
(Lisbon, Ohio) have signed
National Letters of Intent to
continue their academic and soccer
careers at Youngstown State.

Strollo announced on Monday that
Will
Lemke has been named the
Penguins' new head soccer coach.
Lemke becomes the fifth head soccer
coach in the history of the school’s
program.

Dietrich Joins Soccer Program As
New Assistant Coach |

Youngstown --
Head soccer coach Will Lemke
announced that Danielle Dietrich has
been named the Penguins' assistant coach.
Dietrich was the former assistant
women's soccer coach at Goucher
College for two seasons and was a
standout student-athlete at The Ohio State
University.
