Cale's Four-Hitter  Not  Enough  As  Guins  Swept By Green Bay
   Green Bay, Wis. --
Sophomore Cheryl Cale fired a four-hitter and allowed just two runs in game two but the Youngstown State softball team dropped a 2-1 decision to Green Bay on Saturday afternoon. YSU also lost the opener, 9-0.
The Penguins got on the board first when Rochelle Vanyi doubled home pinch-runner Jamie Fornal to take a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth. Senior Becky Hibner, who singled and advanced to third on Vanyi's double, was tagged out trying score on Kristin Bair's fielder's choice.

The Phoenix answered with a two-run fifth inning to steal the victory.
In the opener, senior Becky Hibner allowed just three earned runs but our Penguin miscues led to six unearned runs in the 9-0 loss.
Bair and freshman Kim Klonowski each had two hits for the Guins in game one.
YSU and Green Bay conclude the series, Sunday, at Noon.
