Assistant Coach
Third Season
Now in his third season as a
volunteer assistant coach is Gary
Williams.
Williams, who joined the staff midway through
the 2004 campaign, will serve as the
bench coach and work with the
Youngstown State catchers.
A native of Hubbard, Ohio, Williams has been involved
with the Canfield (Ohio) Baseball
Club for the last 19 years and has
served as its President for the last
13 years.
In 1999, Williams was named one of the most Mahoning
Valley’s Difference Makers by The
Vindicator because of his
involvement with youth sports.
Williams has also coached youth baseball for 10 years
and 18-under softball for three
seasons.
Williams currently resides in Poland, Ohio. |
