EDIT (March 27) - Friday's game against Wright State will now be played at Eastwood Field at 3 p.m. as originally scheduled.
The Youngstown State baseball team is faced with more weather-related schedule changes this week, head coach Steve Gillispie announced on Tuesday.
The Penguins' game at Ohio scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. has been moved up two hours to a 4 p.m. start. Additionally, Friday's scheduled home game against Wright State has been moved to Kelly Automotive Park in Butler, Pa., at noon. YSU will try to play the games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday against the Raiders at Eastwood Field, but those games could also move to the turfed Kelly Automotive Park if the weather does not allow Eastwood Field to dry in time.
YSU has already had three weekend series cancelled due to weather. Its season-opening series in Charlotte, N.C., on Feb. 14 was cancelled, and each of the first two conference weekends have been either snowed or rained out.
Kelly Automotive Park (formerly Pullman Park) is located at 100 Pullman Park Place, Butler, Pa., 16001. It is the home of the Butler BlueSox of the Prospect League, a summer collegiate league.
