Baseball to Begin Red-White World Series This Weekend

The Youngstown State baseball team will conclude their fall practice with the annual Red-White Series beginning on Saturday at Eastwood Field. The series will include three intrasquad scrimmages:

  • Friday, Oct. 21 - Noon
  • Saturday, Oct. 22 - Noon
  • Friday, Oct. 27 - 4 p.m.

Each game will be open to the public with free admission.

One team will wear the camouflage jerseys and be under the direction of Head Coach Dan Bertolini and Assistant Coach Josh Merrigan.

The other team will don the red jerseys and be coached by Assistant Coaches Eric Smith and Ryan Krokos.

This will be a great opportunity for fans to become familiar with Coach Bertolini's new-look squad that is incorporating 23 newcomers and 13 freshmen.
