The Youngstown State baseball coaching staff will hold a pair of camps this July at Eastwood Field.

There will be a Prospect Camp on July 17-18 designed for high school and junior college players, and the staff will also host a Youth Camp for young players between ages 5 and 12 on July 19-20.

The Prospect Camp is designed to be a great opportunity to get hands-on instruction from the YSU coaching staff. The first day of the camp on Tuesday, July 17, will go from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a pro-style workout is on the agenda. The second day on July 18 will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be multiple games to give campers an opportunity to compete in a live game setting. The cost is $125 for pitchers, $175 for position players or $200 for both.

The Youth Camp is centered around providing individual instruction and age-specific drills for young players to learn to play the game the right way. The camp will go from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and a t-shirt and lunch will be provided. The cost is $60 for one day or $100 for both days.
