Ticket Special For Military Personnel and Veterans Part of NDSU Game

The Youngstown State Athletic Department announced on Friday that active military personnel and veterans from all branches of the Armed Services are eligible for four free tickets to the Nov. 16 football game against top-ranked North Dakota State at Stambaugh Stadium.

This special offer allows for those with any Military ID to receive four complimentary tickets for the contest against the Bison. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Additional tickets are available at regular prices.

Tickets will be available starting Monday at the Stambaugh Stadium Athletic Ticket Office. The ticket office will be open on Veterans Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The university is closed in observance of the Holiday.

The offer is for Monday through Friday of next week. No ticket discounts will be given on game day.

Next week is a busy week for Penguins Athletics.

On Wednesday, the women's basketball team plays host to Buffalo at the Beeghly Center. Tipoff is set for 7:05 p.m.

On Thursday, the men's basketball team entertains Warren Wilson in their home opener at 7:05 p.m.

The YSU volleyball team closes out the regular season on Friday and Saturday. The Penguins play host to Milwaukee on Friday at 7 p.m. before taking on Green Bay on Saturday at 6 p.m. following the football game.

Also next Saturday, the annual Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place at YSU's Kilcawley Center. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are still available by calling Emily Wollet at (330) 941-7208.

The 2013 Hall of Fame class includes former Penguin football coach Jim Tressel, former football players Tom Harder, LeVar Greene and Darnell Clark, women's tennis player Santi Nalluri, men's basketball player Anthony Hunt and baseball player Mark Thomas.
