Mistreanu, Campos Earn Victories in 5-2 Loss to Duquesne.

Monroeville, Pa. - The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Duquesne on Wednesday morning. Silviu Mistreanu and Rodrigo Campos picked up singles victories for the Penguins.

Campos improved to 4-0 earning a 6-1, 7-6 (7) decision over Mehdi Mekaoui. Mistreanu won in three sets beating Pete Carpenter 5-7, 7-6 (7), 11-9 at No. 2.

YSU picked up a win at No. 1 doubles with Tariq Ismail and Dawoud Kabli outlasting Aram Abgaryan and Mekaoui 9-7. However the Dukes won decisions at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to earn the point.

YSU returns to action on Saturday night when it visits Toledo. First serve is set for 8 p.m.
