Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Youngstown State men's tennis team concluded a successful weekend defeating IPFW 4-3 at the Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club on Sunday.
Rodrigo Campos won the clinching match for the Penguins. With YSU leading 3-2, Campos disptached of IPFW's Jonathan Rea 6-4, 6-4 to give YSU its fourth point of the dual.
YSU (3-3) came out strong winning two of three doubles points to grab a 1-0 lead over the Mastodons.
Campos's decision over Rea clinched the match for the Guins, their third-straight win.
The Penguins return to action on Feb. 27 when they host Dayton at the Boardman Tennis Center. The contest is set to start at noon.
