  • Khuanrudee, Sittigool, Vivo Sign to Join YSU Women's Golf Program

    Youngstown State Head Women's Golf Coach Nate Miklos has announced the signing of three golfers. Jenna Vivo (Boardman, Ohio), Rattika Sittigool (Thailand) and Pang Khuanrudee (Thailand) will join the YSU program in the fall of 2018.
  • Women's Golf to Hold Annual Snowball Camp in January

    The YSU women's golf program will be hosting their fifth annual Snowball Camp this January. There will be two levels of camps again this year. The “Full Camp” is designed for players who are a little more serious about the game and includes instruction on the full swing, short game, mental game and fitness. The “Mini Camp” is for players just getting into the game and provides instruction on the full swing, short game and putting.

  • Shutt Finishes 12th to Lead Penguins at Shirley Spork EMU Invitational

    Ypsilanti, Mich. - The Youngstown State women’s golf team finished 10th on Tuesday at the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational to conclude their fall schedule. As a team, the Penguins shot a three-round total of 998 with rounds of 315, 337 and 346.

  • Shutt Paces Penguins at Butler Fall Invitational

    Indianapolis, Ind. - The Youngstown State women’s golf team finished sixth in the Butler Fall Invitational at Highland Golf and Country Club on Tuesday. The Penguins shot a two-round total of 639 on the par-70 course with a 318 on Monday and a 321 on Tuesday.

    The Youngstown State women’s golf team returns to the course this Monday and Tuesday at Highland Country Club in Indianapolis, Ind. for the Butler Fall Invitational.
  • Creager Leads Penguins at Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational

    State College, Pa. - The Youngstown State women’s golf team finished 14th at the Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational over the weekend. The Penguins shot 319 and 321 respectively in rounds one and two on Saturday before carding a 322 in the third round on Sunday. This was the team’s first 54-hole event of the season.
  • Women’s Golf Returns to Action Saturday at Nittany Lion Invitational

    The Youngstown State women’s golf team will play their second event of the season on Saturday and Sunday at the 2017 Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational in State College, Pa.

    The Youngstown State women’s golf program will hold their third annual golf outing on Sunday, October 15 at Mill Creek Park Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio.
  • YSU and ROTC Team Up to Support Folds of Honor Foundation

    Head Women’s Golf Coach Nate Miklos took part in the YSU ROTC Golf Outing this past weekend at Avalon Lakes Golf & Country Club in Warren, Ohio. The participants were able to raise $538 for the Folds of Honor Foundation in honor of fallen U.S. Army 1st Lt. Ashley I. White-Stumpf. White-Stumpf was killed in Afghanistan in October of 2011.
  • Penguins Finish Seventh at Roseann Schwartz Invitational

    Boardman, Ohio - The Youngstown State women’s golf team finished seventh out of 10 teams in the fourth annual Roseann Schwartz Invitational at Mill Creek Park. The Penguins finished with a two-round team total of 649 on the par-72 course after shooting 328 on Monday and 321 on Tuesday. 
  • Penguins in Sixth Place After Round One of Roseann Schwartz Invitational

    Boardman, Ohio - The Youngstown State Women’s Golf team sits in sixth place out of 10 teams after one round of the Roseann Schwartz Invitational. The Penguins played 18 holes earlier today in beautiful weather on Mill Creek Park’s North Course and will return to play the final 18 tomorrow.

  • Women’s Golf 2017-18 Season Preview

    The Youngstown State women’s golf team will begin their 2017-2018 season on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4 with the Roseann Schwartz Invitational at Mill Creek Park Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio. The Penguins are scheduled to compete at four events in the fall and another five during the spring portion of their schedule before the Horizon League Championships in late April. The group is slated to play rounds in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
  • Penguins Will Participate Again in Folds of Honor Military Tribute Program

    For the fourth consecutive year, the Youngstown State women's golf team will participate in The Folds of Honor Military Tribute Program. The Folds of Honor Military Tribute Program recognizes a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who was killed or disabled while on Active Duty.
