Women's Soccer Falls at Buffalo, 5-0

The Youngstown State women's soccer team's four-game winning streak was snapped after a 5-0 loss at Buffalo on Sunday evening.

With the loss, the Penguins fall to 4-2 while the Bulls improve to 1-3.

The Bulls scored three times in the first half, including an own goal by YSU, and twice in the second half.

The Penguins managed 11 shot and six shots on goal, but the non found the net. Leading YSU offensively was senior Marrisa Martin, who had four shots and three shots on goal.

Buffalo registered 16 shots, including 10 on goal.

The Penguins visit Eastern Michigan, Friday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m.
