Alison Green Scores in Second Straight Game in 2-1 Loss to Oakland

Rochester, Mich. -- Junior Alison Green scored in a second straight game but the Youngstown State women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Oakland on Saturday evening.

The Penguins fall to 4-8-1 overall and 0-4 in the Horizon League while Oakland improves to 1-10-1 overall and 1-3 in the league.

Green scored in the 17th minute to put the Penguins up 1-0. Green beat the keeper and found scored on an empty netter.

Oakland's Lauren Bos scored a pair of second-half goals to give the Golden Grizzlies their first win of the year.

Youngstown State hosts IUPUI, Friday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Field at the Covelli Sports Complex.
