Stafford Finishes Career-Best 23rd at NCAA Zone C Diving Championships

Bloomington, Ind. - The Youngstown State swimming and diving program had five participants in the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on Thursday and Friday at Indiana's Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center.

On Friday in the one-meter, senior Bec Stafford had the best Zone C Meet finish in her career finishing 23rd. Stafford had a score of 244.40. She had five scores above 40 and all six dives were scored above 39. Her best dive was a 43.40 on her second attempt. It was the final collegiate event for Stafford.

Also in the one-meter, McKenzie Stelter was 45th with a 213.75, Bethany Glick finished 48th with a 207.60, Bailey Dipman was 51st with a 183.95 and Lydia Scheringer was 52nd scoring a 165.60.

On Thursday in the three-meter, Stafford was 43rd with a score of 212.90, Stelter was 45th with a 208.0, Glick finished 46th with a 191.55, Dipman finished 47th with a 184.6 and Scheringer was 48th with a 181.10
