Volleyball Sweeps North Carolina A&T for Fourth Straight Win

Baltimore, Md. -- The Youngstown State volleyball team kept up its strong offense and comfortably defeated North Carolina A&T in three sets on Saturday morning at the Coppin State Invitational.

After hitting .349 against Bryant Friday evening, the Penguins hit .321 against the Aggies in a 25-10, 25-14, 25-15 victory. YSU will look to go 4-0 at the tournament t this evening against Chicago State.

Shannon Watson finished with a match-high 11 kills, and all 16 Penguins appeared in at least one set. Missy Hundelt had seven kills in two sets, and Aly Ryan posted seven kills. YSU hit .414 in the opening set, .308 in the second and .241 in the third.

Brooke Stamnes had six kills for the Aggies, who dropped to 0-7. North Carolina A&T finished with 18 kills and 19 errors.
