Penguins Ink Three
Youngstown -- April Gellatly
(Bowling Green), Kalyn Laveto
(Warren, Ohio), and Michelle Van
Duhn (Berea, Ohio) have all signed
National Letters of Intent to
continue their academic and athletic
careers at Youngstown State, YSU
Head Swimming and Diving Coach
Jackie Bak announced on Wednesday.
“We expect April and Michelle to make an immediate
impact on the program while Kalyn
will add depth to an already strong
diving team,” said Bak.
Gellatly was a Northwestern Ohio qualifier in the
200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard
backstroke, while Van Duhn was named
team Most Valuable Player and
Northeastern Ohio District qualifier
in the 200-yard and 500-yard
freestyle and Laveto is a three-time
Junior National Qualifier. |
