Penguins Prepare For Dual Against Akron
Youngstown --
After a strenuous training trip to
Key Largo, Fla., and some time off
over the semester break, the
Youngstown State swimming & diving
team is eager to get back into
competition. The Penguins return to
the pool on Saturday at 1 p.m. when
they play host to Akron at the
Beeghly Center Natatorium.
The Zips are ranked second in the most recent
CollegeSwimming.com Division I
Mid-Major Power Rankings. It is the
first time the Zips have been ranked
in the top-10 in the brief six-year
history of the program.
The meet should prove to filled with exciting competition
because both teams have trained
extremely hard over break. The Zips
will be coming to Beeghly after
swimming at Ohio State on Friday
evening. |
