2006-07 Indoor (Freshman): Finished fourth in the 400m (49.79) and ninth in the 200m (22.93) at the Horizon League Championships ... won the 200m at the Baldwin-Wallace Mid-January Meet with a personal-best time of 22.56 ... ran a personal-best time of 49.67 in the 400m at the Golden Flash Gala ... ran a time of 7.26 in the 60m at the Doug Raymond Invitational.

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner for the Falcons...set the school record in the 400m (48.13) and was part of the record-setting 4x800m relay (8:01)...was the indoor state champion in the 400m in 2005...finished fifth at the outdoor state meet as a junior (48.62) and sixth as a senior (48.93)...was the MVP of the Mahoning County meet twice...also anchored Fitch's sixth-place 4x400m relay at the state meet...also lettered twice in football.

Personal: Awarded the Lester Donnell Scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year ... born Dec. 28, 1987...parents are James and Linda Kagarise...has one brother (Jim) and two sisters (Sarah and Jen)...major is exercise science.
