Michaelis Named Horizon League Athlete of the Week
Indianapolis -- Youngstown State senior
Kurt Michaelis is the Horizon League
Male Track Athlete of the Week for
the period ending March 29, league
assistant director of communications
Taylor Payne announced.
Michaelis qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the
3,000-meter steeplechase with a time
of 9:06.57 at the Raleigh Relays
Saturday. His time was the
fourth-fastest overall in the race
and third among collegiate runners.
His time is also the seventh-fastest
run in the nation this season. |
