Yandeh Joh Named Horizon League Athlete of the Week

    Indianapolis -- Youngstown State junior Yandeh Joh has been named the Horizon League Female Track and Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts at the Sparky Adams Invitational.
    Joh was one of two Penguins to win two events at the Invitational, taking the top spot in the 100-meter hurdles and the long jump.
    She leaped 17-4 in what was the first time she competed in the long jump during the outdoor season, and her hurdles time of 14.63 was just .04 seconds off her season-best.
    Joh is the first YSU female to win the weekly award this season. Aaron Merrill and Joe Lahmon were previously named the male athlete of the week.
