Kruse Finishes 18th at Notre Dame Invitational
South Bend, Ind. -- Senior Nick
Kruse finished 18th with a time of
25:36 to lead Youngstown State's
men' cross country team to a
14th-place finish at the Notre Dame
Invitational on Friday.
Senior Emily Cicero placed 44th for the women's squad with a
5K time of 18:59.
Nick Smith placed second for the men and 54th overall with an
8K time of 26:09 while Nick Buzek
was 73rd in 26:21. Dave Mealy
finished five spots behind Buzek
with a 78th-place time of 26:25, and
R.D. Goodright finished 125th with a
time of 27:14.
Behind Cicero, Gina Mavrikis finished 114th in 19:53, and
Marielle Glanz was 176th in 22:07.
Amy Moore finished one spot back
with a 177th-place time of 22:12
while Madelyn McGhee finished 182nd
in 23:20.
The Penguins will travel to Ohio Wesleyan University on
Friday for the All-Ohio
Championship. |
