Tisia Leads Men in Cross Country Finale at Great Lakes Regional

Bloomington, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's cross country team wrapped up their season on Saturday afternoon with a 26th place finish in the Great Lakes Regional Meet held at Indiana University.

The men were led by freshman Kiplangat Tisia, who ran a 10k time of 34:23.47 to finish in 134th. Junior Jake Dialesandro was the next Penguin to finish, as he took 143rd with a time of 34:31.13.

Fellow junior Jake Lape finished with a time of 34:39.73 to claim 146th. Joe Copploe, also a junior, finished in 153rd with a time of 34:47.15.

Junior Rick Lape rounded out the Penguin scoring with a 163rd-place time of 35:16.53. Scott Denham, a junior, also competed for the men as he finished in 184th with a time of 36:17.77.
