Youngstown State head baseball coach Steve Gillispie would like extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the large group of friends and supporters that attended the program's First Pitch Breakfast at the Maronite Center on Jan. 17.
The featured speakers at the event were Major League Baseball Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench and Youngstown State President and newly elected member of the College Football Hall of Fame Jim Tressel. "On behalf of our coaching staff and student-athletes, I would like to express our thanks to all of those who took part in the 2015 First Pitch Breakfast," Gillispie said. "Our staff and student-athletes are humbled by the support, and it was truly one of the great events our program has seen."
"I would like to give a special thank you to Johnny Bench, President Tressel and the group of area businesses and families that were sponsors. The Breakfast was a great kickoff to what should be an exciting spring."
