The Youngstown State baseball team’s scheduled game for Friday at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, has been postponed due to rain in the forecast. The Penguins and Milwaukee will now play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 11 a.m., and the finale on Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Horizon League-opening series was originally scheduled to be played at YSU’s home at Eastwood Field in Niles, Ohio, but the field is unplayable due to the large amounts of snow and abnormally low temperatures in the area over the past two months.

Josh North is slated to take the mound for the Penguins in game one, and he’ll be followed by Jeremy Quinlan in the second game of the doubleheader. Kevin Yarabinec will start Sunday’s finale.
