The Youngstown State baseball team will play host to Oakland on Thursday and Friday at Eastwood Field. The three-game series was originally set for Rochester, Mich., but will now be hosted by YSU.
The Penguins and Golden Grizzles will play a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The series will conclude with a single game on Friday at 1 o'clock. Fans are reminded that all times could be adjusted because of the weather.
YSU has had to move two home series (UWM and Valparaiso) so far this season and now is the beneficiary of a schedule change. The Penguins played the Panthers in Westfield, Ind., and visited Valparaiso for a home series earlier in March.
The Penguins will still play host to Oakland May 2-4 at Eastwood Field.
