Milwaukee (11-18, 6-6 Horizon League) had its weekend series with UIC canceled due to weather and will play three games this week before hosting YSU. Recapping Last Week

YSU earned a 9-6 non-conference, road victory over Bowling Green last Tuesday before being swept by Wright State over the weekend in a three-game, Horizon League set. YSU fell 18-4 and 3-2 in a doubleheader on Friday before dropping a 15-10 decision in the finale on Saturday. The three losses to the Raiders have dropped the Penguins three and a half games out of the first place in tie for second in the Horizon League standings.

Kendrick Sets Career Home Runs Record

Senior infielder Andrew Kendrick set Youngstown State's career record for home runs by hitting the 28th of his YSU career at Wright State on Friday. Kendrick eclipsed Eric Diedrich's mark of 27 home runs which had stood since 2008 and did it in just three seasons. The Springfifeld, Mo., native spent his freshman season at Highland Community College in Kansas. He also set the YSU single-season record for home runs last season with 17.
