The Youngstown State baseball coaching staff will hold a Presidents Day Skills Camp on Monday, Feb. 19, at the Watson and Tressel Training Site on campus.

The three-hour camp will begin at 1 p.m. and will be open to players in grades 7-12 or in junior college. The cost is $90 for position players and $50 for pitchers. There is no extra fee for position players who want to throw a bullpen, and video of players showcasing themselves and going through drills will be emailed to them.

The camp is designed to provide elite level instruction and give players one last opportunity to showcase themselves in front of the Penguins' coaches before the upcoming season. The camp is for competitive players who are determined to get better and improve their overall level of play while seeing the style of play that YSU coaches expect. Players will learn proper arm care, elite level defense, daily defensive drills that YSU players use and advanced hitting drills and techniques.

Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment and equipment necessary to compete indoors. YSU merchandise will be available for purchase at the camp.

All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the camp.
