The Youngstown State baseball coaching staff will be hosting a USA Baseball Community Coaching Clinic on December 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) on the YSU campus.

The clinics are held year-round at facilities nationwide, and provide coaches with the opportunity to learn and grow by networking with local coaches while participating in on-field demonstrations. The clinics are open to coaches at any level of the game, as well as any baseball parents or enthusiasts. The event is intended for attendees ages 18 or older. Registration information can be found by following the link provided above.

USA Baseball Community Clinics feature instruction covering topics such as hitting, pitching, fielding, throwing, practice planning, drills for all levels, and keeping the game fun for all players and coaches.

The clinics are also part of the USA Baseball Coaches Certification pathway, that is open to any and all individuals who are currently coaching baseball or aspire to coach at any level of the game. More information about Coaches Certification can be found by following the link provided above.

Check-in for participants will be at 5:30 p.m. The WATTS is located at 651 Elm Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44555.
