The Youngstown State football program unveiled a group of 19 National Letter-of-Intent signees on Wednesday. The 19 join four who enrolled at YSU in January bolstering the number of newcomers to 23. Of the 23, 13 are on the defensive side of the ball while 10 are on offense.
The Penguins inked seven players from Pennsylvania and Florida, five from Ohio, two from California and one each from Michigan and Indiana in Head Coach Eric Wolford's third signing class.
On defense, five defensive linemen, three linebackers and five defensive backs make up the signees. On offense, five linemen, three wide receivers, a quarterback and a tight end round out the list.
