Former Youngstown State center Mark Pratt has earned an undrafted free agent tryout with the Arizona Cardinals.
Pratt is the fourth former Penguin to get an NFL shot this spring joining former offensive mates Lamar Mady (Oakland), Will Shaw (Pittsburgh) and Jamaine Cook (Cleveland).
Pratt was a two-year starter for the Penguins at center. During his junior year he started all 11 games for YSU while last year he started 10 contests. In 2012, the Penguins surrendered a school-record-tying low eight sacks in 11 games.
As a junior in 2011, he was a second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection. He was named the team's Offensive Lineman of the Year that season while posting the highest overall grade of his front-line mates.
A native of Tooele, Utah, he attended Snow Junior College prior to coming to YSU.
