Members of the Youngstown State football coaching staff are begin mic'd up this spring to provide an inside look at the program. Fifth-year defensive line coach Tom Sims is featured in today's Mic'd Up segment.

The Penguins have a veteran unit this spring with returning starters Steve Zaborsky, Terrell Williams and Emmanuel Kromah. Also returning on the front line are Vince Coleman, Derek Rivers, Desmond Williams, Eric Myers, Octaivius Brown and Rickey Hagood. The unit lost one key contributor from a year ago in defensive end Kyle Sirl.

So far this spring, the defensive line has earned rave reviews from Head Coach Eric Wolford.

In this episode, Sims works his defensive line in individual drills, apologizes to tailback Jody Webb about not being able to protect him when he runs the football against the defense and tells line newcomer Milton Williams that "We Hit Stuff in Football" during a sunny day of practice at Stambaugh Stadium. To end the video he emphasises "no unforced errors" from his unit.
