Armand Dellovade is serving as an undergraduate assistant for the Penguins in 2019. He will work with defense this fall.

Dellovade was a four-time All-MVFC selection at linebacker for YSU from 2015-18. 

Dellovade was a second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection in 2018 and was a second-team Academic All-MVFC pick as well. As a senior, he was credited with 102 total tackles, including 56 solo stops and was second on the team with 9.5 TFLs. He had a career-best 105 tackles and started all 16 games at linebacker in 2016 when the Penguins reached the FCS National Championship Game.

He started 47 of 49 career games played finishin his career with 337 total tackles, including 198 solo stops.

Dellovade was impressive in the classroom as well earning FCS ADA All-Academic Team honors while being named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society and was a 2018 semifinalist for the NFF's Campbell Trophy. He earned second-team Academic All-MVFC accolades on three occasions.

A native of Imperial, Pa., he graduated from West Allegheny High School. He was a four-year letterwinner for the Indians and helped lead the program to a pair of WPIAL Class AAA titles.
