Freshman men's basketball Jordan Andrews (LaPlace, La.) joined YSUSports.com to talk about life in Louisiana, basketball and the transition to college.
Andrews was a four-year starter at Riverside Academy and led his prep squad to a third straight state championship in 2014-15. He was named the tournament most valuable player and averaged 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
During the program's three-game foreign tour in the Bahamas in August, Andrews was impressive. He averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 steals and three assists per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor and 52.4 percent from 3-point range.
