• Hain also has 679 career rebounds and needs three more to move into 10th place on the all-time rebounding list.

 

Hain Nearing Rare Feat

• Senior Bobby Hain is on the cusp of a distinguished accomplishment in YSU basketball history.
• Hain has 1,187 points and 679 rebounds in his career.
• He needs 13 points and 21 rebounds to become just the sixth player in school history to post 1,200 points and 700 rebounds in a career.

 

Donlan Nets Career High

• Junior Matt Donlan turned in a career performance against Purdue on Dec. 12.
• He set a career high with 19 points and tied a career high with five 3-pointers.
• Donlan also dished out a career-best three assists against the Boilermaker.
• Over the last five games, Donlan is averaging 14 points per game, has made 17 3-pointers and is shooting 51 percent from the field and 54.8 percent from 3-point range 
• He also leads the team with 32 3-pointers and ranks fifth in the Horizon League with 2.7-pointers made per game.
• He also ranks eighth with a .444 3-point percentage.

 

Morse Among Leaders

• Sophomore Cameron Morse is among the Horizon League leaders after the first 12 games of the year. 
• Morse ranks third in the league with 2.3 steals per game and ranks tied for eighth with 14 points per game. 
• He is also 10th in free-throw percentage at .795.
• He poured in a career-high 28 points against FGCU on Nov. 21. 
• It marked his second straight 20-point performance and he has scored 106 points in his first seven games played. Morse scored 102 points in 17 games played as a freshman.

 

Umude Hits Career High

• Sophomore  Sidney Umude posted the first 20-point performance of his career against Geneva on Dec. 15. 
• Umude scored 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor and 7-of-9 from the free-line.

 

Francisco, That's Fun to Say

• Sophomore Francisco Santiago has been solid as the Penguins' floor general.
• Santiago has 50 assists for an average of 4.2 assists per game and owns an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.9.
• He ranks fifth in the Horizon League in assists per game and ninth in assist-to-turnover ratio.
• He posted a career-high 17 points in the Penguins' triple overtime loss to FGCU on Nov. 21.
• Santiago was in the giving mood in his collegiate debut at Kent State on Nov. 14.
• Santiago dished out a career-high eight assists to go along with six points and six rebounds against the Golden Flashes.
