Indianapolis, Ind. -- Youngstown State men's basketball senior Matt Donlan was named Academic All-Horizon League after a vote of the league's Faculty Athletics Representatives.

Donlan, a general studies major, owns a 3.25 overall grade-point average and averages 8.8 points per game and has made 57 3-pointers this season. He made 82 3-pointers last year, which rank fifth on the YSU single-season list, and average 13.1 ppg.

He ranks tied for 10th all-time with 140 career 3-pointers and has 14 double figure scoring games in 2016-17.

This marks the second straight and the fourth time in the last five years a Youngstown State player has been named to the Academic All-Horizon League Team. Last season, Francisco Santiago made the list.
