The Youngstown State men's basketball program has added an Elite Camp to the 2017 Summer Boys' Basketball Camp Slate.
The Elite Camp will be held on June 24, from Noon to 7 p.m. The cost of the Elite Camp is $80 and is open to grades 9-12. The camp will offer individual and group instruction in all phases of the game. A strong emphasis will be devoted to the fundamentals needed to improve your overall game. Each player will be coached throughout the camp by the YSU Men's Basketball staff and players.
YSU is also offering two individual camps and a team shootout this summer.
New Head Coach Jerrod Calhoun, his staff and student-athletes will serve as camp instructors for a Day Camp, Skills Camp and a shootout for high school varsity and junior varsity teams. All camps are open to any and all entrants.
The Day Camp is June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and costs $145 for kids ages 8-18. The Day Camp will offer a full day of teaching, skill instruction,games, and contests aimed to improve your overall skill level.
The Skills Camp runs from June 19-22 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and costs $95 for kids ages 8-18. The Skills Camp will offer a half- day of teaching, skill instruction,games, and contests aimed to improve your overall skill level.
The Team Shootout is June 11 and costs $250 per team.
